There are many ways to support the lupus community. We invite you to choose the level of engagement that best fits your personal goals.
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization receiving no government funds, the Lupus Alliance of Upstate New York is primarily a volunteer-driven organization that relies on individuals, businesses and foundations for financial support.
Corporate & Foundation Giving
Sponsorship, product donations, grants, and one-time gift opportunities are available at a variety of giving levels. Each is integral to our mission and offers appropriate gift recognition. Support can be administered locally, regionally or throughout our 33-county service area, by sponsoring an event, funding an existing lupus program or new initiative, partnering in a media campaign or choosing from a host of other opportunities. For assistance in making the gift that best suits your community-building objectives, including employee engagement, contact Judith Christian, President & CEO, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Individual donor support is critical to the lupus community and to the Lupus Alliance of Upstate New York. Here are a few of the many ways to give:
Tributes and Memorials
Honoring or remembering a loved one with lupus is particularly meaningful, when it is done through a donation made in your loved one's name and the funds are used to support the lupus community as a whole. Thoughtful cards acknowledge these gifts, which may be made in any amount.
Legacy gifts establish long-term recognition and may include naming opportunities such as a scholarship, program or special event. Giving at this level is less about having large sums of disposable income in the future and more about taking mindful action to ensure a brighter tomorrow for those who suffer. Small steps today can achieve important, lasting outcomes. To receive information about legacy giving, contact our office by phone or email.
