September marks the beginning of Autumn and the halls of learning are abuzz. This Autumn also marks the launch of a new learning opportunity for the lupus community and others who struggle with chronic autoimmune diseases.
The Lupus Education & Advocacy Network (LEAN FORWARD) video series provides on-going education and support to those who are unable to attend in-person meetings. Monthly LEAN FORWARD programs will be shared on YouTube, available through LAUNY’s website and shared at in-person meetings.
If you are not already signed up to receive an email from LAUNY, do so today and we’ll keep you informed when the program launches and all the places and times it will be available to you. Sign up at lupusupstateny.org/meetings.
Registration is required online by September 24th. There will be NO registrations accepted the day of the event. If you miss this registration cutoff, you have the following in-person registration options. LAUNY needs a final count for the food and the venue prior to the event.
If you can’t make your reservations online, you have the following options.
Additional in-person registration opportunities will be available at the following locations:

Parking for the event-You have options!
Harbor Center parking ramp is across the street from Canalside and all-day parking is just $3. The Metro runs to the corner by Harbor Center, too, so you can park outside the city and take the train to the walk. There are several area parking lots, some with guards and some with meters.
